To continue our introduction of such fine and helpful Core Contributors we must introduce you to Lynette Fry.  Lynette first met Donna Miller at one of Donna’s ladies baking retreats.  Little did the two know it, but they would have so much in common with their views of preparedness and more.  Lynette has not only enjoyed preparing her own family but also sharing that journey to inspire others.

Lynette Frye is a freelance writer and speaker with a focus on preparedness. She the owner of PreppingOnABudget.com where you can sign up for a bi-weekly Newsletter designed to encourage you regardless of your income or budgeting challenges.  She enjoys her rural lifestyle, with her husband and dog, in the southeastern US.

She enjoys hosting her weekly talk radio program on Blog Talk Radio called Prepping On A Budget  where each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. eastern time you can tune in for your mid-week dose of preparedness encouragement! New Premium Membership Subscription:  In response to the growing requests and needs of more in-depth training in preparedness, we have created and launched a new Members Subscription.  This new subscription-based service will allow us to go a bit deeper in training than what is typically found in a magazine format.  We will be collaborating with some special experts to share regular monthly live-webinars to offer instruction and training on a wide-variety of preparedness topics.  These monthly webinars will be offered as part of the benefits package for our Premium Members, and will be recorded so that our member have a growing library of expert resources and tools archived for their benefit.

Print Publication of PREPARE Magazine:  It has taken a bit longer than we thought, but we are pleased to say that we have launched the print version of PREPARE Magazine.  It is beautiful.

Coming This Month!

Special Preparedness Training Webinars and Events: 
Our first live-Webinar training will be held this month (scheduled for May 16th).

Our monthly Webinars are special live training events that are video and audio recorded.  These training webinars will be made available to Premium Members (free), and others by registration and appropriate fee.

The topics (and guest presenters) are different each month, and offer diverse training content on topics related to preparedness, self-reliance, and disaster survival.

Preparedness Community Board and Forum: 
One of great needs in Preparedness is joining and sharing within a community.   Coming soon to our Members area will be an active forum where people can discuss and share ideas on Preparedness topics.

This is a beautiful issue that offers excellent, and extremely beneficial, content.  As always, we are very grateful for the wonderful contributions from our expert Authors and partners.  There willingness to share their wisdom and expertise to the Preparedness Community – is very much appreciated.  We all benefit by sharing our experiences and skills with others as we all travel this important journey to Prepare.

New Print Subscription and Premium Membership

The new May Issue is only part of the announcement.  We also have our Print publication going out – and the official launch of our new Premium Membership Subscription.   Quite a busy month for PREPARE!

We appreciate all the requests in interest in the new print publication.  Since this was a brand-new effort for us, we really wanted to have the publication in our hands before we began taking new subscriptions.   Our early subscribers and partners have already started receiving their publications, and we will begin taking new subscriptions next week.

We hope you will get to know  this particular core contributor in greater depth.  What he has established for years prior to being a part of PREPARE Magazine speaks volumes to his commitment to serving others along this journey of preparing in Peace vs. fear.

Jason Hunt founded Hunt Survival, Inc./ KY River Bushcraft as an outreach and training center for people called to prepare for the gospel ministry that have a desire to get back to basics. His vision was equipping small groups of men and women that would venture out to take the gospel to diverse areas outside of the institutional church setting; more specifically in an outdoor or wilderness environment just as the early church did in its humble beginnings. Jason was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steve Beshear for service to the Commonwealth where he’s worked as a pastor and missional church planter for over a decade. He was ordained by the late Apostles Charles & Frances Hunter. Jason holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Ministry respectively with a Doctorate in Theology. He’s also a published author having written books related to the Christian life, Search and Rescue and has been featured in several magazines and video series.

Jason Hunt is also the President of Frontier Christian University and continually strives to improve the lives of those he encounters all to the glory of Jesus Christ.   Frontier Christian University was founded in 2001 originally as Southern Indiana Bible College under charter of Kingdom Harvest Ministries located in New Albany, Indiana. Their first class sessions were held at Dwelling Place Ministries which still serves the downtown community of New Albany. With an office now located in Floyds Knobs and training sites throughout Southern Indiana, FCU continues its commission of equipping God’s Generals to reform the nations with the power of the Gospel of the Messiah Jesus. With students from all 50 states and over a dozen other nations Frontier has been met with a wide variety of acceptance and recognition.  FCU is equipping believers to make a difference in their communities for God’s kingdom.

Jason has been training in the martial arts for almost thirty years and was inducted into the 2001 U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He has black belt ranks in Ju Jitsu, Hapkido, Arnis, Krav Maga and Kapap.

PREPARE Magazine Next issue

We will be releasing our May issue (digital) of PREPARE Magazine next week.  If you have subscribed, watch your emails for the download information.   This is a beautiful publication with some excellent resources.

We are happy to announce that the next Digital issue of PREPARE magazine will be ready for release within a few days.  It’s an amazing issue that we believe our subscribers are going to love.

We are now ready to officially launch PREPARE Magazine.  It’s been a pretty challenging birth, but we are blessed with the opportunity and are now ready to cut the ribbon and begin releasing some amazing things that we have been working on.  We are celebrating our launch with the release of our Print publication and also the Premium Membership Subscription.  You will be hearing more about them within the next few days.

Our first-issue print, will be released shortly – as the designer has indicated the publication is almost ready.  The first printed issue should be going out to our initial subscribers very soon.
